Wie zijn wij?

Hi we’re Will & Hugo! And we’re on a mission to create spaces for anyone working in sound. We’re combining our skillsets within construction, project management, finance and an unhealthy obsession with soundwaves to build 15 soundproofed music studios in Overamstel. Long term units will form the core of the business, and they'll subsidise something we're really proud of: a completely free space for music students.

Wat is ons plan?

We're building a music studio complex in Amsterdam. Our goal is to create not just a place to rent a room, but a proper community. With regular collaboration events, live jam sessions, and free access for students. We spent 2025 doing market research, competition analysis, financial modelling, 3D designs, risk assessments, marketing, and timelines, and priced up every last bolt and panel. Our location is secured and everything is ready to go! Now we just need your help to buy an almost comical amount of insulation. And some wood.

Wat is de investering?

We're looking to raise €122,000. Here's where it goes: • Building materials - insulation, timber framing, drywall, flooring etc • Tools and equipment - when muscles aren’t enough • Insurance - full coverage before a single nail goes in • Security - CCTV, alarm system, and access control from day one • Electrical contractor - not cheap, but we like being alive. • Health & Safety training - manual handling, first aid, and construction safety for the whole team There's a further 298 pages of detail in a Google Doc, which we could easily bore you to death with if you'd like!

Hoe kun je meedoen?

We're offering a loan, paid back over 6 years with 5% annual interest on the outstanding balance. So you get your money back + a little extra - but that's not even the best bit. Your annual repayment comes with a party. Every year, we'll throw a founders' party at Soundspace - meet the musicians you helped give a home to, hear what they've been making, and celebrate with a slightly heavier wallet than you arrived with.
